Veterinary Exam, Radiography and Check Right Foot:
Patient placed under general anesthesia with Isoflurane via mask maintenance.
Whole body radiographs were taken and then radiographs of both feet were taken to evaluate right hallux.

Whole body imaging was WNL.

Right foot, hallux: The bone structure of this digit is completely normal and negative for any sign of fracture, infection or inflammation. The keratin talon is present but is shorter and slightly blunter than normal side.
This appears to be a previous injury in which the talon may have been degloved or lost at the tip. The remainder of the digit is normal and function should be close to normal with his digit and foot although the talon will never be as long or sharp as original.

Eye Check:
Fluorescein stain was NEGATIVE for OS today. No stain uptake and no corneal lesions noted, posterior of eye appeared normal. OD normal.

Patient recovery from anesthesia normal.

Plan: D/C eye meds. D/C systemic medications. Put through mouse school to ensure patient can capture prey normally.

Standing in box. BAR. Noted broken hallux with bone exposed, admin torb. Concerns with OU. Right primaries have been pulled, something is missing and a few are loose. Scrubbed and flushed talon. Covered with SSD, duaderm, telfa and taped and placed vet wrap around. Finished treatment and placed in KR2.
